Reading Tips

Not in order, it takes time
Divided into 3 passages
Take 1 minute to skim. Read the title, subtitle and the beginning of every paragraph.
- It opens your brainbox! It sets off brainstorm for yourself.
- You are getting ready to understand what the passage is telling you.
Look at 2-3 groups of questions. Scan and match names to statement.
- ex. Professor Jackson ~. CEO Smith ~.
- Circle every pronouns! Circle all names for people.
- Active with the pen :)
Read the statements and possible answer choices and you just go name by name.
Timing and strategies are very important. Skim quickly, access your information on topics.
